Twitter "Spoils" Olympics News?
Perhaps you didn't know, but NBC is "delaying" certain Olympic events so that they can air them during US prime time. What this means is that Americans who rely on TV as their only source of Olympic coverage find out about exciting wins up to 8 hours after it actually happens. Now unless you happen to be one of the 8 people left in the US who don't use the internet, it's kind of hard to avoid news of the Olympics.
Is Amazon stalking(googling) me?
So, yesterday I wrote about Amazon's packaging failure. Today, I have a new Twitter follower named Amazon_mp3, which is shilling songs from Amazon's downloadable music site. Coincidence, or is Amazon googling itself, looking for bloggers who mention them and have a Twitter account, and then auto-following them? It's interesting if they are doing that, but kind of creepy, in an anonymous, impersonal AI internet-stalking way.
Experimenting with Twitter
Supposedly, if I've done my homework correctly, whenever I post a story on this website, it should update my Twitter feed. We'll see.
That reminds me, I need to put a Twitter block on my page somewhere.
Edit: Nope, module is not working properly and throws all kinds of errors. Disabled for now.
