I'm starting to wonder if I'm diligent enough in my password selection and strength:

Keeping a separate 14-character password for every site I access seems a bit excessive. On the other hand, I definitely don't see the internet getting any less scary as each day goes by.

At minimum everyone should be using really strong passwords for financial websites like banking, credit cards and aggregators like Mint.com.

Creative Spammer

I have to give props to this spammer. This particular email got around Gmail's usually stellar spam filtering by using ASCII art consisting of random numbers to get his message across. Effective, but I'm still not buying anything from them, nor are they going to get any free advertising from me, so I've obliterated their URL.
