Windows 7 logo

I recently upgraded two of my home computers to Windows 7. One of them was already running the release candidate version of Win7, and the other, our media center PC, was running XP. I've been running a media center PC for years, and for the past year, it's been the primary content provider in the living room. You'll note that I used lower-case "media center" as I've stayed well clear of Microsoft's product, and have been using Snapstream's Beyond TV software in combination with basic satellite service from DirectTV, and a Firefly remote (which, unfortunately, does not seem to be widely available anymore).
